The MAGIC ACADEMY of TOKYO is a magic circle founded to advance the art of magic and to develop the future generation magicians.

The MAGIC ACADEMY of TOKYO (“MAT”) was founded with the following goals in mind.

Developing and mentoring the future generation of magicians.
Advancing the art of magic through the cooperation and collaboration of magicians worldwide.

Membership

Membership Types

There are 3 types of MAT membership: Magician Member, Junior Member, Associate Member.
Applicants must meet the requirements and be approved by the trustees to become a member of MAT.

Magician Member

Applicants are required to give a short audition which includes an interview and demonstration of performance. In certain cases, membership may be accepted upon recommendation by a member of the trustees.

Junior Member

Junior membership is reserved for magicians aged 18 or younger. Applicants are required to give a short audition which includes an interview and demonstration of performance. In certain cases, membership may be accepted upon recommendation by a member of the trustees.

Associate member

Associate membership is open to everyone who loves the art of magic. No magic skills or knowledge are required.
